JELD-WEN Composite Garage Doors
Environmentally-Friendly Doors From the Leader in Composite Technology
Elegant, strong and durable garage doors give your home curb appeal that last, without the cost and
maintenance of wood doors. Jeld-Wen has been the world leader in composite technology for over thirty years.
The JELD-WEN Composite Garage Door Difference
- (1) Strong
- The support rails on a JELD-WEN door are constructed using laminated veneer lumber (LVL). This engineered lumber is stronger, straighter, and more uniform than typical sawn lumber. It is designed to not warp, twist, bow, or shrink.
- The extra-wide LVL laminated support rails on a JELD-WEN garage door provide the strongest structural support in the industry. To provide extra protection and support, waterproof glue is applied to all surfaces.
- (2) Energy Efficient and Environmentally Friendly
- The insulation used is environmentally safe and CFC-free expanded polystyrene insulation. This type of insulation holds its insulating capabilities (R-value) over time.
(3) Super Skin
Resists the Elements- Thermal set melamine resins combined with refined cellulose fibers create an exterior door skin that is virtually impervious to moisture, cracking, rotting, sub-zero freezing, desert heat and the damaging effect of the sun's ultraviolet rays.
- (4) The Rich Look of Wood
- A deep-definition, wood-grain pattern is available. The grain direction is correctly registered to simulate the texture of an actual wood door. Look closely and compare to steel doors. Composite is simply superior.
- (5) Perfect Fit
- The JELD-WEN garage door can be trimmed at the job site for a perfect fit every time.
